Former Vice President and General Manager, Pacific
Citrix Systems, Inc.
Dennis W. Rose is the former Vice President and General Manager – Pacific for Citrix Systems. Rose led the Citrix’s sales, marketing, system engineering, channel development and related field operations in the Pacific (including all of Asia-Pacific and Japan) from 2003 to 2008. Denis brings a 20-year track record of sales, marketing and operational experience in the United States and Latin America with companies including IBM Corporation, Digital Equipment Corporation and two high technology start-up firms.
Previously, Denis served as the Vice President of Citrix Asia in 2001-2003, a role in which he managed to significantly increase the growth and profitability of Citrix’s operations in that region while expanding its operations beyond Singapore, Hong Kong and India into mainland China, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand. Before moving to a regional role, Denis was Citrix’s vice president of worldwide sales and marketing operations.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Marist College and an MBA in Finance from Boston College. He is also a graduate of the Stanford University executive program in International Management. Denis lives in Singapore.

Sanjeev is one of Asia's leading financial economists with contributions in environmental accounting to urban re-engineering. Since the mid-nineties, he has written extensively about Asia's rapidly changing economies. In recent years he split his time between India and Singapore where, till recently, he was Deutsche Bank's Chief Economist for the region. He is also an Adjunct fellow of the Institute of Policy Studies at the National University of Singapore. He has many other attachments including Steering Committee Member of Urban Age at London School of Economics. He is also one of the founders and directors of the ‘Green Accounting for Indian States’ project, one of the first attempts to re-calculate the national accounts of a major country on a "green" basis. In addition, he has been actively involved in major projects promoting primary education and micro-finance in India (www.indiabanao.org).
Sanjeev studied economics at Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University and then at Oxford University where he was a Rhodes Scholar. In 2007, he was awarded the Eisenhower Fellowship for this work on the economics of urban systems. DANIEL LAI is the Head of Information Technology of MTR Corporation Limited, Hong Kong’s subway operator. He is responsible for providing vision and strategic directions on IT at MTR, the most important public transportation provider in Hong Kong. Daniel has 40 years experience in information technology in Hong Kong and Australia. Prior to joining MTR in 1999, he held various senior leadership positions with the very prestigious Hong Kong Jockey Club. He is a Distinguished Fellow and Chairman of CIO Board of Hong Kong Computer Society (HKCS). He was the President of HKCS from 1998 - 2004. Daniel has contributed significantly in promoting and developing the application of IT in Hong Kong and the region, he has held many positions in public services and educational institutions including Adjunct Professor of Graduate University China Academy of Science and Technology and the University of Electronic Technology.
Daniel has led many innovative and large scale IT projects and managed large computer installations. He has developed and implemented IT governance, programme and project management, and outsourcing frameworks. More recently, he has successfully led the IT integration works for the merger between MTR and KCR.
Daniel graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Computing and Management studies and holds a Master in Technology Management from Griffith University. In recognition of his contribution to the development and promotion of IT in business and community, he was awarded Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) in 2004. He was also awarded CIO Award (Asia) in 2003, 2005 and 2008, ZDnet CIO of the Year in 2006, 2007 China distinguished CIO, nominated a Computerworld Honour Laureate’s in 2004 and named by MIS Magazine in 2004 one of the most influential IT leaders in Asia.
